Description
The United States Air Force is seeking a contractor to inspect, diagnose, repair, renew, modernize, and replace low- and medium-voltage electrical systems. The work may include transformers, switchgear, panelboards, protective devices, motor control centers, emergency generators and transfer switches, fire alarm networks, power conditioning equipment, surge and lightning protection, lighting systems, conductors, cables, and associated terminations. Additional work may include Direct Digital Controls for HVAC, vertical transportation controls and lighting, building automation systems, overhead and underground distribution systems, service feeders, grounding grids, duct banks, conduit networks, and manholes. The contractor must provide temporary power during outages, coordinate system cutovers, perform functional testing, commissioning, and acceptance activities, and comply with applicable codes and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Installation Facility Standards. Energy-efficiency upgrades and emergency repair services may also be required.
