Description
The City of Miramar Parks and Recreation Department is seeking an experienced pressure-washing contractor to perform one-time cleaning at 24 parks, sports complexes, community facilities, and related locations. The scope includes tennis courts, basketball courts, paddleball courts, netball courts, sidewalks and sidewalk curbing, fountain pavers and basins, stages, pavilions, pool decks, and other listed recreational surfaces. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, water, and environmentally safe cleaning solvent. Parking lot curbing is excluded; pavilion work is limited to the slab/floor, the entire stage structure at Shirley Branca Park is included, and sealed surrounding fountain pavers and fountain basins are included. Runoff may be directed to landscaped or pervious areas, but discharge into storm drains, lakes, canals, or waterways is prohibited. The estimated project budget is $19,000 to $25,000, with award to the lowest responsive, responsible contractor based on the grand total. Contractors must have operated under the same legal entity for at least three consecutive years; prior-entity experience and subcontractor qualifications do not satisfy this requirement. Work must be completed within 21 business days after notification to proceed, excluding approved weather delays. The quote package requires the completed quote submittal form, business/vendor profile survey, three completed and signed reference questionnaires for comparable pressure-cleaning work performed within the past three years, applicable preference documentation, and a signed Addendum No. 1 acknowledgment.
