Description
The City of Council Bluffs is soliciting a lump-sum bid from one contractor to renovate an existing employee-facilities building at its recycling center. The work includes metal and wood-stud framing, hollow-metal frames, wood doors, casework, insulation, interior and exterior finishes, fire sprinklers, mechanical and electrical systems, removal and reinstallation of fire extinguishers, and accessible restrooms. The project must be completed by May 14, 2027. Bidders must attend the mandatory pre-bid walkthrough and submit a 10% bid security in the form of the City's bid-bond template, a certified check, or a certified share draft. The electronic response must include the required bidder-status, past-project-information, Title VI and Equal Employment Opportunity, addendum acknowledgment, bid-security, and pricing materials. The successful contractor must later provide 100% performance and payment bonds and insurance.
