Description
The City of Omaha is seeking a contractor for a lump-sum parking lot renovation at the Motto McLean Ice Arena. The work includes removing and replacing asphalt pavement, curbs, gutters, pavement markings, and other designated obstructions; backfilling and compacting demolition areas; installing new asphalt paving; striping parking stalls; and providing all labor, materials, equipment, hauling, disposal, traffic control, barricades, and incidental work. The project will be performed under a single-prime construction contract and must be completed by May 1, 2027. Bidders must submit the electronic bid and required response attachments, including bid security, a Certificate of Insurance, Employee Classification Act affidavit, Certificate of Compliance, Responsible Contractor Compliance Form (RC-1), and SEB Participation Disclosure Form. A bid bond or acceptable substitute equal to 5% of the total bid is required when the bid is $50,000 or more; the original bid security must be delivered to the City Clerk within seven calendar days after bid closing. The solicitation includes an SEB reserve for ESB and SB Tier 1 and Tier 2 categories for 0% of the total bid amount. Questions must be submitted through the bid event's Questions tab.
