Description
This solicitation is for fuel oil polishing and biocide treatment services for the Department of Veterans Affairs Coatesville VA Medical Center. The services include annual filtering, polishing, and biocide treatment of all fuel oil located at the facility. This encompasses cleaning Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST) and Underground Storage Tanks (UST) by removing water, sediment, gums, microbes, and oxidized fuel, followed by the addition of biocide. The contractor must adhere to relevant Federal, State, and local codes, as well as ASTM-D975 standards for diesel fuel oils. The contract will be awarded on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis to a certified 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
