Description
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHS) is seeking bids for asbestos abatement services at the Lufkin State Supported Living Center (SSLC). The services required include inspection, containment, removal, and disposal of asbestos-containing materials (ACM). The vendor will be responsible for supervision, cleanup, and disposal, and must possess all applicable permits, licenses, and insurance coverage. The scope of work includes preparing work areas, installing containment barriers, and ensuring proper operation of ventilation systems. The vendor must comply with all state, federal, and local regulations governing work practices, transportation, and disposal of asbestos waste materials. Bidders must provide a minimum of three verifiable references for contracts of similar size and scope of services within the last three years. The contract term is from September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2030, with no renewal options.
