Description
The County of Berks is soliciting bids for the supply and delivery of a wide variety of food provisions. These provisions will be utilized by the Berks County Jail System, Berks County Heritage Center, and Berks County Youth Center. Berks Heim Nursing and Rehabilitation may also procure food provisions under the terms of this ITB. The solicitation details numerous food items, including canned goods, dairy products, meats, poultry, frozen items, baked goods, beverages, and pantry staples. Specific brands and packaging requirements are outlined in the attached price schedule and technical specifications. Vendors are required to provide samples of offered items upon request and ensure all products meet quality standards and have appropriate shelf life. Deliveries are to be made FOB Destination, dockside, to various county facilities with specific delivery days and time windows for each location. The contract term is for twelve months, with options for renewal.
