Description
The Village of Canastota is soliciting sealed bids for the demolition and removal of controlled non-friable asbestos material from a municipally owned building located at 112 Depot Street, Canastota. An independent environmental assessment has determined the presence of asbestos material in the second-floor ceiling. Experienced contractors are invited to submit bids for the removal and disposal of asbestos material from the project site. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder that offers the best value. All work must comply with New York State Department of Labor prevailing wage rates (PRC number 2026009278), and bidders must be registered with the NYSDOL Contractor Registry. The successful bidder will be provided with the rate schedule and must agree to pay at least these minimum labor rates.
