Description
Texas State Technical College (TSTC) is soliciting proposals for asbestos abatement services for the ACT Building located at 3801 Campus Drive, Waco, Texas. The selected supplier will be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, tools, supplies, insurance, equipment, materials, transportation, disposal, and documentation necessary to complete the work in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The scope of work includes general project description, supplier responsibilities, regulatory compliance, licensing and certifications, experience requirements, safety practices, waste handling and disposal, and submittals. Suppliers must demonstrate prior experience with similar asbestos abatement projects and provide at least five references. A mandatory pre-proposal conference and site walkthrough will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM CST at the ACT Building. Failure to attend this conference will result in disqualification. Proposals will be evaluated based on qualifications, licensing, certifications, relevant experience and references, project approach, safety plan, schedule, and pricing. The anticipated work start date is Monday, August 3, 2026.
