Description
The U.S. Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission is soliciting quotations for 10,000 tons of Type ABC Lime aggregate base material to resurface levee roads at the Nogales International Wastewater Treatment Plant. The material must be dense-graded crushed stone or gravel blended with lime, have a maximum aggregate size of 1 inch with lime dust, and comply exactly with the Performance Work Statement; substitutions, alternate materials, exceptions, and deviations are not permitted. The contractor must furnish, load, haul, deliver, and stockpile the material, including all labor, equipment, transportation, fuel, supplies, permits, and other costs. Delivery must begin within 10 calendar days after notification by the Contracting Officer and be completed within the 365-calendar-day period of performance. Award will be made on a firm-fixed-price basis using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable procedures, with technical acceptability determined on a pass/fail basis.
