Description
The USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, is soliciting a firm-fixed-price supply contract for approximately 2,950 tons of stockpiled, 1-inch-minus crushed rock surface coarse aggregate meeting Table 31-2, Grading G, and the applicable supplemental specifications. An optional additional quantity may be purchased if funding is available. The aggregate must be available at a contractor-designated pit located no more than 35 miles from the boundary of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, specifically the Springerville and Alpine Ranger Districts. The contractor supplies and stockpiles the aggregate only; contractor hauling or delivery is not included. The Government will provide hauling from the designated pit. Quotes must include pricing, pit location information, technical documentation demonstrating material compliance, availability and access information, loading and site-safety details, exceptions, and any available past-performance references. Award is expected to go to the lowest-priced technically acceptable offeror with acceptable or neutral past performance.
