Description
Pima County is soliciting bids for routine maintenance and on-demand grading of unpaved roads and shoulders. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, materials, fuel, water, graders, water trucks, rollers, dump trucks, tools, equipment, traffic-control devices, and related incidentals. Work includes grading full roadway widths and shoulders, compacting material to a minimum of 95 percent, maintaining drainage features, hauling and applying water for compaction and dust abatement, sweeping loose material, repairing damage caused by operations, and disposing of unsuitable material. The contractor must prepare traffic-control plans, maintain at least one open lane during daytime work, coordinate utility locating, provide schedules and updates, perform quality control and testing, and comply with applicable PAG specifications and the MUTCD. The contract is for a one-year term with four one-year renewal options; quantities are estimates, work is issued on an as-needed basis, and the County does not guarantee a minimum amount of work. A complete signed Offer Agreement and required supporting documents must be submitted electronically through the BidNet solicitation portal.
