Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking capability information from qualified sources for a comprehensive package of brand-name-or-equal Aesculap stainless-steel surgical instruments supporting general surgery, gynecology, ENT, vascular surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, hand surgery, urology, ophthalmology, and plastic surgery. The package includes extensive quantities of surgical instruments such as scissors, forceps, clamps, needle holders, retractors, dilators, curettes, suction instruments, and specialty instruments. The requirement also includes stainless-steel surgical instrument containers with lids, perforated baskets, medical-grade silicone cushioning mats and dividers, snap-on identification tags, etched tray-name labels, and closed instrument stringers with locks. Products must support repeated sterilization, provide durability and corrosion resistance, integrate with instrument-tracking systems such as Censitrac through 2D matrix markings where specified, and comply with stated FDA, OSHA, ISO, and material standards.
