SUNY Upstate Medical University intends to purchase Karl Storz endoscopy products and related products through a Vizient-awarded contract under New York State's statutory authority for consortium purchases without a formal competitive process. The attached product list includes a broad range of reusable and disposable endoscopes, bronchoscopes, cystoscopes, laparoscopes, telescopes, forceps, suction and irrigation components, light sources, cameras, cables, cleaning brushes, and other accessories. Vendors offering equivalent products may contact the designated procurement representative. Any proposed equivalent must meet the clinical performance of the Karl Storz products and be supported by free clinical documentation and equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial. Vendors must be authorized to sell Karl Storz products under the Vizient contract or offer an approved equivalent. The successful contractor must provide current New York workers' compensation and disability forms.
