Description
The University of British Columbia is procuring a semi-automated aseptic filling and closing system for small-batch production, clinical manufacturing, research, and pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical applications. The system must support filling, stoppering, and optional sealing or capping of vials, syringes, and cartridges, with manual loading, unloading, and process initiation. Requirements include fill-volume flexibility from 0.1 mL to 250 mL, throughput up to 300 units per hour, specified filling accuracy and repeatability, in-process fill verification, material transfer, and integration with an isolator. The equipment must include a Grade A isolator with HEPA filtration, unidirectional airflow, positive pressure control, glove ports, material-transfer airlock, viable and non-viable environmental monitoring, and integrated vaporized hydrogen peroxide decontamination. It must include PLC-based controls, HMI, recipe management, audit trails, user access controls, alarms, data connectivity, and applicable GMP-compliant documentation. The vendor must provide installation, training, FAT/SAT support, qualification documentation, technical bid analysis, pricing in Canadian dollars, exceptions and clarifications, references, and supporting technical documentation. Delivery is specified as DDP or DAP to 2047 Wesbrook Mall, Vancouver, British Columbia, with a target project completion within 12 months of notice to proceed.
