Description
The City of Ottawa, Kansas, is soliciting proposals from qualified and properly licensed demolition contractors for complete demolition of the structures at 1017 S. Ash Street. The scope includes separate pricing for the north duplex alone and for both the north duplex and south apartment structure, including removal of foundations and other designated improvements, utility coordination, permits and inspections, hauling and lawful disposal of debris and regulated materials, dust and public-access control, and final cleanup, grading, filling, seeding, and site restoration. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, permits, licenses, testing, disposal, fencing, barricades, and incidental work. Proposals must include company and license information, lump-sum and itemized pricing, proposed start date and completion duration, comparable demolition experience, at least three references, insurance or evidence of insurability, exceptions, site-inspection confirmation, a utility-disconnect plan, hazardous-material approach, and the completed proposal form. Work must begin within 10 calendar days after written notice to proceed and generally be completed within 30 calendar days after authorized commencement.
