Description
Gardner Edgerton USD 231 requests proposals for dedicated Internet access at one of two locations: Gardner Edgerton High School or Trail Ridge Middle School in Gardner, Kansas. Bidders may quote either or both locations, and the district will select one service location and one provider. Proposals must include separate monthly recurring and nonrecurring pricing for 5 Gbps and 10 Gbps service, installation and delivery schedules, service-level commitments, handoff details, and options to upgrade bandwidth during the contract without major infrastructure replacement. The district has an ARIN-assigned /24 address block and requires the provider to support advertisement of that address space through BGP, with routing, peering, and associated charges described. Initial terms of one, three, and five years may be proposed, with up to five optional one-year renewals aligned to the June 30 E-Rate funding-year cycle. Bidders must identify their SPIN, disclose subcontractors or other service providers, comply with applicable E-Rate requirements, provide SPI billing, and separately identify all E-Rate-ineligible costs. Questions are due October 12, 2026, and electronic proposals are due October 26, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Central Time.
