Description
Olathe Public Schools USD 233 is soliciting a turnkey contractor to replace wireless data cabling infrastructure in designated middle school and alternate education buildings. The project is estimated at approximately 124,000 linear feet of cabling, subject to removal of one building from the scope. Work includes installing purple Cat6A Ethernet cabling, patch panels, patch cords, biscuit jacks, cable-management hardware, conduits and racks; routing cables to MDFs and IDFs; terminating and labeling all cable ends; restoring fire-rated walls where penetrated; and providing required service loops and cable pathways. The contractor must test and certify all installed cables, provide test results and network documentation, comply with applicable standards and Secure Networks Act requirements, and correct errors or omissions at its own expense. Pricing must be provided as turnkey lump-sum costs by building and for the entire project, including materials, labor, lift rental, floor protection, off-site storage, delivery, dedicated onsite crews, and a dedicated project manager with weekly status meetings. The project implementation period is April 1 through July 31, 2027. Proposers must have an E-Rate Service Provider Identification Number and comply with the FCC Red Light Rule.
