Description
Olathe Public Schools USD #233 is soliciting proposals for replacement of wireless cable infrastructure in its elementary, middle school, and alternative education buildings. The scope includes approximately 11,000 feet of Category 2 internal-connection cabling, installation and initial configuration, and basic maintenance of internal connections. Vendors must attend a mandatory walkthrough to determine the actual cabling quantities. Equivalent products may be proposed under applicable E-Rate competitive-bidding rules. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the District's IonWave online bid portal; email and facsimile submissions are not accepted. Proposed subcontractors must be identified with names and addresses. The solicitation requires specified insurance coverage, including workers' compensation, commercial general liability, automobile liability, umbrella liability, and property insurance. A current Form W-9 is required through the vendor-registration process, and the successful contractor must provide insurance certificates at contract execution.
