Description
The Town of Babylon is soliciting bids to construct an auxiliary sump and pump station at Cell 7 of its landfill. Bidding and contract documents are available through the Town’s website. Each proposal must include a certified check or bid bond payable to the Town in the amount of 5% of the total bid comparison price. For projects exceeding $250,000, an apprenticeship program approved by the New York State Department of Labor is required for the prime contractor and all subcontractors, regardless of subcontract amount, for all trades needed to complete the work.
