Description
The City of Moberly is seeking a contractor to replace roofs at the Heritage Hills Golf Course cart barn, clubhouse, east restroom, and stage/pavilion. The work includes asphalt architectural shingles on three facilities; 29-gauge metal roofing and skylight replacement at the east restroom; clubhouse downspout replacement; removal and disposal of existing roofing; synthetic underlayment; and an ice-and-water barrier across the bottom three feet. Shingles must be black CertainTeed Landmark, Owens Corning Duration, or an approved equivalent with a lifetime warranty, subject to the solicitation's stated requirements. Bidders must provide complete product details, job scope, and any deviations with their quotation. Damaged decking may be replaced by mutually agreeable change order, and structural or other issues discovered after roof removal must be reported to the City. Work may begin after October 6, 2026, or upon Council approval, whichever is later, and must be completed by December 31, 2026, subject to excusable delays. The successful contractor must comply with applicable 2021 City building codes and obtain the specified insurance coverage, including naming the City as an additional insured.
