Description
The City of Columbia is soliciting competitive bids for the supply and delivery of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) stormwater application pipe in 15-, 18-, 24-, 30-, 36-, 42-, 48-, and 60-inch diameters. The pipe must conform to specified AASHTO and ASTM standards, including requirements for dual-wall construction, smooth interiors, integral reinforced bells, elastomeric gaskets, watertight joints, carbon-black content, and manufacturer-supplied joint lubricant. Freight and delivery are included in the firm, fixed linear-foot pricing, with delivery to be arranged after purchase-order placement. The solicitation is for materials only. Bidders must complete the pricing page for the original contract period and renewal periods, provide catalog cost, fixed percentage-plus pricing, delivery time, manufacturer or brand information, catalog numbers, specifications, descriptive literature, warranty information, and the required miscellaneous-information exhibit. The initial contract period is three months, with nineteen additional three-month renewal options; pricing may be adjusted during renewal periods based on documented material-cost changes, subject to City approval.
