Description
The University of Missouri System is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive fire sprinkler inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair services under a five-year agreement. Required work includes annual inspections, testing, and maintenance of wet-pipe, dry-pipe, and pre-action sprinkler systems; five-year internal pipe inspections and obstruction investigations when required; annual fire pump testing; deficiency reporting; and corrective repairs on an as-needed, time-and-materials basis. The contractor must furnish labor, supervision, tools, testing equipment, transportation, materials, and incidentals; comply with NFPA 25 and applicable codes and Authority Having Jurisdiction requirements; provide electronic inspection reports within 10 business days of service; maintain 24/7 emergency service capability with a four-hour response requirement; and coordinate work to minimize disruption to university operations. The Columbia campus includes approximately 150 sprinkler-protected buildings, more than 630 wet-pipe systems, 23 dry-pipe systems, 8 pre-action systems, and 13 fire pumps.
