Description
The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities' Capital District DDSO is soliciting a quote for full attic insulation at an occupied residential facility. The work covers approximately 2,500 square feet and includes installing attic baffles between roof rafters, verifying that ridge, soffit, and gable vents remain unobstructed, and installing one layer of R-30 fiberglass insulation between ceiling joists followed by one perpendicular layer of R-19 fiberglass insulation. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, disposal, cleanup, tools, and site protection, and complete the work within 30 days of receiving the purchase order. This is a New York public works project requiring prevailing wages, certified payroll compliance, and valid New York State Department of Labor contractor registration at bid submission. Quotes must include an itemized materials and labor breakdown and be submitted on the Official Bid Form. A mandatory site visit is required before submitting a quote.
