The New York Power Authority is soliciting a contractor to provide comprehensive operations and maintenance services for the Somers Solar Project, a nominal 27.1 MW ground-mounted photovoltaic facility using NE Solar modules and Sungrow inverters. The scope includes supervision, labor, materials, equipment, permits, safety, quality control, operation, maintenance, monitoring, compliance, and reporting needed to operate a safe and reliable project and achieve applicable performance guarantees. Services include general site upkeep; trash removal; vegetation, roads, grounds, fences, gates, drainage, and security-equipment maintenance; warranty management; project operation and performance management; preventative and corrective maintenance; remote operating and SCADA monitoring; environmental and regulatory compliance; onboarding and integration of SCADA and computerized maintenance management systems; preventative maintenance, spares management, and crisis management plans; root-cause analyses; and end-of-contract services. The project is expected to achieve commercial operation in the fourth quarter of 2027.
