Description
The contractor will furnish and install acoustical panel ceilings and ceiling grid systems, fiberglass reinforced plastic paneling with trim and accessories, vinyl-covered tackboard panels including five percent attic stock, and 1-1/2-inch cementitious wood-fiber acoustic wall panels. The scope also includes fasteners, hangers, bracing, seismic components, acoustical sealants, ceiling splay wires for other ceiling-mounted items, cleaning of completed ceiling and wall panels, coordination with other trades, protection of the work, Procore submittals and project documentation, and final as-built documentation. This is a prime public-works construction contract with an estimated bid value of $438,694.31 and an anticipated 490-calendar-day project duration. The bidder must hold a California C-2 license, submit a 10 percent bid bond, and provide payment and performance bonds at 100 percent of the contract amount before work begins. The project is subject to prevailing-wage, DIR registration, DVBE participation, insurance, and prequalification requirements where applicable. The bid package identifies the required submission items, including the bid form, subcontractor list, bid security, non-collusion declaration, sufficient-funds declaration, asbestos and lead certifications, DVBE documentation, and other forms required by the solicitation.
