Description
The City of Saratoga Springs is soliciting bids for approximately 10 tons of sodiumsilico fluoride per year for use in its water treatment system. The product must be domestic, meet AWWA standards for drinking-water treatment additives, be suitable for a volumetric dry feeder helix machine, and include stated theoretical and commercial fluoride content and solubility. Foreign-made product is not acceptable. The chemical must be priced per hundredweight and delivered in 50-pound bags, with shipments of at least one pallet, to the city's Water Treatment Plant on Excelsior Avenue. Delivery is required within 10 calendar days after receipt of order. The response must include the official bid form, Non-Collusive Bidding and Vendor Code of Conduct Certification, Risk and Safety Agreement, Certificate of Insurance, and requested technical information. The city may extend the contract for one additional year under the same terms if both parties agree.
