NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Department of Central Services will receive sealed bids in person or electronically through the Empire State Pur- chasing Website until 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 22, 2026, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for Refuse Pick-Up as per specification 26-BRP-1. Bid forms and instructions are available at the Department of Central Services, 50 W. High Street, Ballston Spa, NY be- tween 9:00 a.m. & 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (tele- phone - 518-885-2210) or at the Empire State Purchasing Group website (www.empires tatebidsystem.com) Saratoga County, through its Department of Central Ser- vices, reserves the right to re- ject parts of any or all bids. Description
Saratoga County is soliciting bids for refuse pick-up services at multiple county facilities in Ballston Spa and Saratoga Springs. The contractor must provide and collect refuse containers on specified schedules, maintain neat and sanitary conditions, use covered vehicles, correct missed or delayed pickups within 24 hours, and provide additional pickup pricing for 2-, 6-, and 8-cubic-yard containers. The contract runs from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2028, with two optional one-year extensions. Bidders must submit the provided bid forms, a signed indemnity and insurance agreement, a certificate of insurance, and the required disclosure and certification statement, including non-collusion, Iran Divestment Act, and sexual-harassment-prevention certifications. General liability, automobile liability, and property-damage liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 is required, and the county must be named as an additional insured.
