Description
Daniels & Daniels Construction Co., Inc., serving as Construction Manager at Risk for the Pender High School Food & Nutrition Lab Renovation, is soliciting a prequalified subcontractor under Bid Package BP-05. The work is a lump-sum, turnkey package covering temporary dust partitions; metal framing, furring, soffits, and gypsum-board ceilings; Level 4/5 finishes; knee walls; fire-retardant blocking; access panels; acoustical insulation and sealant; ACT-1 ceilings with intermediate-duty grid and seismic bracing; demolition-related framing and gypsum-board infill; rough openings; patching; layout; firestopping; cutting and patching; cleanup; and related labor, materials, equipment, supervision, hoisting, permits, fees, and sales tax. The bid includes a base lump-sum price, three listed alternates, unit prices for metal-stud partitions, gypsum-board patching, ACT-1 ceilings, and temporary dust partitions, plus lead times, duration, crew size, exclusions, qualifications, and addenda acknowledgment. Bidders must be prequalified and comply with background checks, identification requirements, no-contact-with-students rules, E-Verify, insurance requirements, hot-work procedures, lead-paint RRP practices, schedule requirements, closeout deliverables, and a one-year warranty. The bid form states that bids are valid for 45 days and that only exclusions written on the bid form will be recognized.
