Description
The State of Connecticut, on behalf of the Town of Killingly, is soliciting sealed bids for the supply and delivery of polymer emulsion to the Killingly Water Pollution Control Facility. The initial contract term is 12 months, beginning July 1, 2026, with the option for two additional one-year renewals. The facility typically consumes approximately 110,400 lbs of polymer annually, with deliveries generally received in 9,200 lb shipments. Bidders proposing an alternate polymer must successfully complete jar testing and meet stringent performance criteria, including NSF/ANSI Standard 60 certification. Deliveries are scheduled between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and emergency delivery services are available 24/7 with a 24-hour response time. Contractors must demonstrate at least five years of experience in bulk chemical delivery, possess all necessary licenses and certifications, and maintain appropriate insurance coverage. Bonding is not required for this project.
