Description
The City of Shelton is soliciting bids for comprehensive waste management services. This includes the transport and disposal of both Construction & Demolition (C&D) bulk waste and Municipal Solid Waste (MSW). The scope of work involves providing 50-yard open-top roll-off containers for C&D waste and 100-yard open-top trailer dumps for MSW. Services include timely removal of full containers, maintenance of containers, and adherence to all regulatory standards. Disposal of C&D materials must be at a facility licensed by the State of Connecticut's Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, with costs borne by the contractor. MSW will be transported to the WinWaste Facility in Bridgeport, CT, or another location designated by the City, with tipping fees covered by the City. The contract will be for an initial three-year term, with options for three additional one-year extensions.
