Description
New Haven Public Schools is issuing an invitation to bid for comprehensive pest and rodent control services to ensure safe and healthy learning environments across all school facilities. The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, supervision, tools, and supplies necessary to provide full pest and rodent control for each school listed in the solicitation. Targeted areas include kitchens, cafeterias, boiler rooms, basements, teacher's lounges, home economics rooms, main offices, concession stands, and any other food preparation or special designated areas. The scope of coverage includes bees, rodents, and all types of insects. Additional services include extra calls, nuisance wildlife trapping, daily monitoring, live animal removal, bedbug inspections and treatments, bee/wasp treatments and removals, termite inspections and treatments, and pavement ant inspections and treatments. The contractor must maintain a service logbook at each school and meet with the Facilities Director every six months for review. The contractor must hold a Connecticut State S-1 Certified Supervisory License and a Connecticut State Certified Junior Applicator's License. All work shall be tracked in the district's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The contract term is one year with two one-year renewal options.
