Description
This solicitation is for the manufacture of MICROPATCH BLACK, part number MC-753, in 1-gallon containers. The material must meet specified material and physical requirements and has a shelf-life requirement. Marking of delivered items must comply with applicable Military Standards and Specifications, including MIL-STD-130 and MIL-STD-1285 for mechanical and electronic parts, respectively. Configuration control is to be managed per MIL-STD-973. A critical requirement is that shelf-life items must have at least 85% of their shelf-life remaining upon receipt by the first Government activity. Specific marking requirements for Type I and Type II shelf-life items are detailed, including date formats and the expression of shelf-life periods. The manufacturer for this item is Tolber Division of Pyramid Plastics, with Cage Code 59460.
