Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Environmental Laboratory (EL) requires a Spark Plasma Sintering System (Model SPS2000) to support their research in environmental science and engineering. This system will be used for the synthesis and densification of materials. The required system includes the main unit (Model SPS2000), an upgrade for a 70kN/300A (46kVA) DCPulse Generator, a CalNano Upgraded High Strength Graphite Tooling Package, and a computer. A chiller system for the SPS2000 is also included as an option. The delivery location for the system is the Environmental Chemistry Branch, Bldg. 3299, 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS 39180. Delivery and installation must be completed no later than July 30, 2026.
