Description
The Army Contracting Command is issuing a Call for Solutions for Advanced Manufacturing Composite Print Capability to address supply chain challenges and enhance readiness for weapon systems. This initiative aims to integrate advanced manufacturing composite print technology at the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) to enable the rapid fabrication of qualified parts, tools, jigs, fixtures, and ground support equipment. The required solution involves an advanced composite printer capable of high-temperature printing with aerospace-grade, fiber-reinforced super-polymers, including continuously reinforced fiber polymer, NylonWhite, CarbonFiber, Fiberglass, and Aramid Fiber (Kevlar®). The solution must include shipping, on-site installation, ancillary equipment, operating software, warranties, feedstock, training, sustainment, and on-demand technical support. The printer must have a minimum build envelope of 20.7 x 15.7 x 15.7 inches, with build accuracy of +/- 0.0015mm per mm. It requires specific power requirements (200-240VAC 3PH, 14A, 8kW) and network communication capabilities. The solution must also comply with CE and FCC Part B regulations. Training for up to five personnel will be provided over four days on-site.
