Description
The Town of Middlebury is seeking bids for concrete catch basins, tops, risers, slabs, and sumps. Bids will be received until Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. and publicly opened at 11:30 a.m. in the Town Hall Conference Room. All bid proposals and descriptive literature must be submitted on or attached to the proposal form. Bidders must have at least five years of experience in this type of work in Connecticut and provide a list of references for site work performed over the last five years in Connecticut. The use of subcontractors is prohibited. The successful contractor will be required to provide a Certificate of Insurance naming the Town of Middlebury as an additional insured and a completed W-9 form. All bids will be considered valid for ninety (90) days from the date and time of opening. Workmanship shall be of the highest quality and built to specifications of The State of CT Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridges, Form 816, Section 5.07.
