Description
The City of Omaha is seeking a contractor for construction and renovation work at the Levi Carter Park fishing pier. The scope includes replacing vehicular concrete pavement and sidewalks, improving fishing pier ramps for ADA compliance, and constructing new ramp guardrails. Related work includes metal pipe railings, curb ramps, pavement markings, grading, erosion control, and restoration of disturbed areas, as detailed in the project specifications and drawings. Bids must include a bid bond or acceptable substitute equal to 5% of the bid when the total bid is $50,000 or more; a copy is uploaded with the electronic bid, and the original must be delivered to the City Clerk within seven calendar days after bid closing. The solicitation also requires a completed Responsible Contractor Compliance form, an Employee Classification Act affidavit, a Certificate of Compliance, a Certificate of Insurance, and an SEB Participation Disclosure form. The project has a 100% SEB reserve for the specified ESB and SB Tier 1 and Tier 2 categories.
