This special notice is for information and planning purposes only and announces an Industry Day concerning five planned military construction projects at Vandenberg Space Force Base. The work includes telecommunications lines, road and infrastructure improvements, a South Base Entry Control Facility, a consolidated air traffic control tower/fire station/base operations facility, and a Sentinel re-entry vehicle facility. The projects include renovations, plumbing and capacity upgrades, administrative and collaborative spaces, roads, utilities, telecommunications, and new facilities. The projects are expected to be combined into three Other Transaction Authority agreements: one Progressive Design-Build agreement for the telecommunications, Space Launch Complex 5, and Entry Control Facility projects; a second Progressive Design-Build agreement for the air traffic control tower, fire station, and base operations facility; and one Construction Manager at Risk agreement for the re-entry vehicle facility. The total estimated magnitude is $375 million, with individual project program amounts ranging from $13.2 million to $152 million. Anticipated work includes design development, preconstruction services, final design, and construction. Interested parties may attend the Industry Day, submit a Statement of Qualifications during the anticipated future selection process, and potentially participate in pitch meetings. This notice itself is not a solicitation and will not result in an award.
