Description
The City of Jackson Community Development Department is accepting sealed bids for the strip and replacement of the roof and installation of new gutters at 1413 Teneyck St. The project includes removing existing shingles and felt, making repairs to roof framing, installing 7/16" OSB sheathing, ice shield, 15# felt, architectural shingles, metal drip edge, valley flashing, reflashing chimney and vents, and installing ridge venting. Gutter work includes furnishing and installing 5-inch K-type aluminum gutters and downspouts with proper pitch and drainage. The contractor must be licensed in Michigan, registered with the City of Jackson, and have SAM.gov registration. The project is funded by HUD and subject to federal requirements including Davis-Bacon wage rates, Section 3, and equal opportunity provisions.
