Description
The project involves providing and installing a new IP-based paging system to support audio distribution throughout the interior and exterior of the Alger Correctional Facility in Munising, Michigan. The work includes installing a new server and software for scheduled messages, tones, and live audio; installing new cabling and speakers; re-using existing cabling where noted; removing old speakers and cabling; configuring the Ethernet network to support a new paging VLAN; and providing training and closeout documentation. The contractor must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference and walk-through on July 1, 2026.
