Description
The City of Westland is requesting a turnkey 11-door access control installation at the Senior Friendship Center. The scope includes supplying and installing HID-compatible proximity readers, recessed door-position switches, request-to-exit devices, door strikes or latch hardware, control panels and additional boards, battery backups, plenum-rated cabling, conduit or limited surface raceway, supports, and related installation hardware. All doors must release upon a fire alarm, with the bidder providing the relay and connection to the existing fire alarm panel. The new boards are expected to connect to the existing RS2 system and LP-1502 controller. The contractor must configure the existing Access It! Universal system, including the Friendship Center site, access levels, intervals, time zones, macros, tasks, and schedules; assist with reader labeling; and enroll cardholders. The existing software is version 11.2.1, with an optional line item requested for upgrade to version 13.01. The proposal must include the required bid and disclosure forms, addendum acknowledgment, three references, and a wiring topology diagram in Microsoft Visio or Adobe PDF format. No bid, performance, or payment bonds are required.
