Description
Cocke County Government is soliciting bids for selected non-HVAC energy-efficiency improvements at the Cocke County Fire Station. The scope includes approximately 4,520 square feet of R-13 batt insulation; replacement of approximately seven existing windows with Low-E insulated double-pane units; weather-sealing and adjustment of four garage doors; and replacement of fluorescent lighting with high-efficiency LED lighting and occupancy sensors. Work includes field verification, removal and disposal of replaced materials, installation accessories, fixture modifications, testing, cleanup, permits, and related labor and equipment. HVAC equipment, ERV systems, VFDs, and thermostat setback work are excluded. Bidders may bid on one, several, or all four items, and the County may award items separately or together. The successful contractor must comply with applicable licensing, insurance, federal funding, Build America Buy America, Davis-Bacon, SAM.gov, and suspension-and-debarment requirements. The bid packet includes bidder certifications for Iran divestment, drug-free workplace compliance, non-collusion, contractor licensing, business tax and license compliance, BABA, Davis-Bacon, SAM.gov, and insurance requirements.
