Description
The City of Riverside Public Works Department is soliciting bids for construction of storm drain improvements along Rockledge Drive. The work includes removing and reconstructing an existing catch basin while protecting existing laterals, installing approximately 350 linear feet of 12-inch reinforced concrete pipe, constructing two new catch basins and a junction structure, and connecting the new system to the existing drainage infrastructure. Related work includes excavation, unsuitable-material removal and replacement, trench shoring and backfill, traffic control and access, water-pollution-control measures, curb and gutter work, asphalt pavement restoration, cold milling, post-construction CCTV inspection, surveying, utility coordination, and cleanup. The estimated bid value is $183,775. Bidders must hold a valid California Class A General Engineering or Class C-34 Pipeline contractor's license. A 10% bid bond is required, and the successful contractor must provide 100% payment and performance bonds, required insurance, prevailing-wage compliance, and at least 50% self-performance of the contract price.
