Description
This Sources Sought/Request for Information seeks companies capable of providing all facilities, materials, equipment, and personnel needed for FY2027 dry-dock repairs to the USCG ANT Puget Sound, a 55-foot vessel. Work must be performed at the contractor’s dry-dock facility and is anticipated to include hull welding and plating, underwater-body inspection and ultrasonic testing, appendage leak testing, mast and machinery inspections, diesel engine alignment, exhaust and fuel-system work, sea-valve and strainer overhaul, tank cleaning and inspection, buoy-handling equipment and fendering repairs, deck and superstructure preservation, insulation inspection, marine chemist services, temporary services, sea-trial support, propeller and shaft work, rudder work, cathodic protection, bearings, compressed-air systems, and sewage and grey-water tank work. This is market research rather than a request for proposals or quotations. Respondents must provide company and UEI information, business size and applicable socioeconomic status, supporting certification documentation when claiming a status, a statement describing how the work would be performed and confirming willingness to submit as a prime contractor if solicited, and relevant past-performance information including contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and customer points of contact. The anticipated resulting contract would be firm-fixed-price with an estimated 151-calendar-day period of performance, subject to change.
