Description
King County is soliciting sealed bids for a work-order contract to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, incidentals, supervision, subcontractor coordination, and overhead required for roof repairs and replacements within its Wastewater Treatment Division. Work may include coating, caulking, cleaning, skylight replacement, flashing, three-coursing, seam and tear repair, and repairs to single-ply, hot modified built-up, torch-applied, cold-applied, composition, green, tile, and metal roofing systems. Roof replacement work includes preparation of existing roof decks and flashing substrates, followed by installation of vapor barriers, insulation, cover boards, and membranes. The contract has a not-to-exceed price of $3,000,000, includes a 15% minimum apprentice utilization requirement, and requires at least 7% participation by King County Certified Small Contractors and Suppliers.
