Description
The U.S. Navy intends to award a commercial, firm-fixed-price contract on a sole-source basis for hosting, maintenance, and technical support for a satellite communication system at the Alaska Satellite Facility in Fairbanks, Alaska. The requirement supports the Mobile CubeSat Command and Control ground station network, including maintenance and technical support for the facility’s antenna and related infrastructure. The agency identifies unique geographic advantages, physical control of the infrastructure site, proprietary access restrictions, and specialized technical expertise as the basis for its current sole-source position. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations, and no solicitation document exists. Interested responsible sources may submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to provide all services described in the Performance Work Statement. The capability statement may not exceed six 8.5-by-11-inch pages and must use at least 10-point font; submissions must be Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF attachments sent by email.
