Description
The Bureau of Land Management's National Interagency Fire Center is seeking one 250-horsepower outboard motor to replace the current motor on a 22-foot Wooldridge Alaskan XL vessel used by the Alaska Fire Service. The motor must meet specified V8, 4.6-liter, 250-horsepower, RPM, weight, gearcase-ratio, alternator, electronic-fuel-injection, and regular 87-octane gasoline requirements. The motor must include a lower-unit jet pump suitable for shallow interior Alaskan rivers. A Mercury Pro XS 250 Outboard Motor or equivalent is acceptable. Quotations must include a specification sheet, equipment price, and shipping price.
