Description
The U.S. Army is conducting market research for non-developmental tactical radio systems, communications equipment, and associated services supporting Foreign Military Sales. Required capabilities include compatible FALCON-series HF, VHF, UHF, multiband, microwave, ground, airborne, handheld, man-packable, vehicular, and vehicular handheld radios; tactical SATCOM terminals operating in Ka, Ku, and X bands; VHF/UHF APCO Project 25 radios; accessories, installation equipment, spare parts, maintenance tools, test equipment, and configuration, command-and-control, and messaging software. Systems must interoperate with currently fielded L3Harris radio products and networks and support specified voice, data, waveform, encryption, interface, and environmental requirements. Associated services include CONUS and OCONUS operations and maintenance training, installation support, engineering support, site surveys, and hardware and software field service support. The anticipated IDIQ contract period is four years and six months, with projected delivery orders for more than 16,300 handheld, 10,900 man-packable, 10,900 vehicular, and 5,500 vehicular handheld configurations, plus approximately 930 training and 260 field-support events. Initial deliveries are expected within 210 days after order receipt or contract award, and a minimum 12-month warranty is required. This is a Sources Sought notice, not a solicitation or request for proposal; responses should describe the company's capabilities, relevant hardware and services, ability to act as a single provider, teaming arrangements, and related government work.
