Description
The Town of Plainfield is soliciting proposals for sidewalk construction and repair services at the Recreation Department and Senior Center Building. The project addresses frost heave affecting the automatic ADA doors and requires removal and disposal of the existing base material, concrete walkway, and associated materials; installation of new specified base material; installation of a new concrete walkway; and restoration of disturbed areas. All work must comply with applicable codes and be subject to building inspection. The proposal must include a technical response, lump-sum pricing, project personnel and qualifications, relevant project references, approach and schedule, required resources, regulatory or litigation disclosures, proof of insurance, a completed bid form, corporate or entity resolution, evidence of Connecticut business good standing, and applicable contract-compliance documentation. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled at the project site, and the selected contractor will be responsible for required permits, subcontractor compliance, insurance, and applicable state set-aside and nondiscrimination requirements.
