Description
Buchanan Community Schools seeks a contractor to furnish and install an irrigation well and a complete irrigation system for its high school softball field, including sprinkler heads and a new Hunter ICC2 Flow controller. Work includes connecting the system to the well and controller, coordinating electrical connections with a district-selected contractor, testing the system, restoring disturbed grounds, and providing staff training, as-built drawings, controller programming and credentials, and warranty information. The system should allow for possible future expansion to an area between the softball and baseball fields. Bidders must provide a project schedule, recommended sprinkler-head specifications, installation specifications and technical guidelines, warranty details, and at least three professional references. The bid must include a completed cost sheet and required affidavits and certifications. A bid bond or cashier's check of at least 5% of the bid is required; the successful contractor must provide 100% payment and performance bonds before work begins. The project is anticipated to start between June 14 and June 30, 2027, and must be completed by July 30, 2027.
